IP Passthrough does exactly what it‘s called. It passes the modem IP to your WAN port. So you are bypassing all routing. Bypassing all routing functions results in no access to basic Chester functions like IMEI revision and band locks. A WiFi connection will not provide any data. To reach your router you will need to manually setup an IPV4 address on your Windows PC or Mac. An example of a manual IPV4 address is 192.168.100.12.

Once you are back at the router UI the only setting available is to toggle IP Passthrough on or off. To make any band changes you will need to temporarily disable IP Passthrough.

Before you enable IP Passthrough, it is a best practice to first setup Tailscale. The reason I always recommend setting up Tailscale is because you will not lose webUI access whatsoever if you follow this rule of thumb.
