Initially this was solely a solution for enabling wi-fi calling, however since t-mobile is continiously upgrading their tech this is now an essential step for all t-mobile sim cards across all plans.
What this does?
Alters modem profile to "Generic"

Essential Step - APN must be correct
T-Mobile Home Internet use APN: fbb.home
T-Mobile ALL OTHERS use APN: fast.t-mobile.com
T-Mobile ALL OTHERS use APN: fast.t-mobile.com
